The Southwest Area Training Schedule is located here. All pertinent course information is listed.  The Schedule is updated periodically.  Next year's schedule is available after June 1 of each year.

Information, schedule, and nomination process for the Southwest Fire Use Training Academy. 

RELATED TRAINING

Information on other aviation- and fire-related training opportunities and meetings for the Southwest Area that are not listed in schedules or catalogs on this site.  This  includes NMTC, EMIFPA, TFM, WFAP, fire academies, etc.

NATIONAL INTERAGENCY SCHEDULE

A National Interagency Schedule of courses that allows a user to query by various topics and complete a nomination form electronically.

NOMINATION PROCESS

Information about the Southwest Area nomination process and a NWCG-approved Nomination Form.

SELECTIONS

Trainee selections will be listed for some Southwest Area courses and will be so noted on the Schedule.  If selections are NOT listed, contact the Course Coordinator.  However, the Course Coordinator will notify each nominee who has been selected. 

COMPLETIONS

A list of students successfully completing Southwest Area training courses.   Course Coordinator will notify students of their completion of course whether listed or not.  Changes to initial listing will not be posted.
