Southern Area Wildland Fire Training
The 2010 SA Advanced Fire and Aviation Academy is scheduled for the dates of June 07-18, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront, Jacksonville, FL. Please note that all federal employees must submit nomination(s) through the IQCS Electronic Nomination Workflow Process. NWCG electronic nominations will only be accepted for sessions not listed in IQCS (please see http://www.fs.fed.us/r8/r8academy/schedule.pdf) for a list of those courses. Electronic NWCG nominations will be accepted from State and other non-federal partners and are to be mailed to r8_sacg_training@fs.fed.us. If you have questions regarding these processes,please see your training officer. We look forward to seeing you at the the Academy!!

To fulfill these requirements, we are dedicated to working with agency leaders to predict and develop strategies and approaches to provide quality training programs and opportunities to work towards accomplishment of agency goals. |
