The Southern Area Wildland Fire Training Schedule contains pertinent information about courses and meetings being held in the Southern Region.
The National Wildfire Training Schedule is a list of courses that allows users to query by various topics and complete a nomination form electronically.
This section contains information about the Southern Region nomination process and provides a link to the NWCG approved nomination form located on the National Wildfire Training Page.
Selection notification contains a list of students selected to attend Regional level courses only. It should be posted here shortly after the closing date stated in the Geographic Area schedule. However, each nominee selected will be notified of the selection whether or not information is listed here.
This section contains training courses offered at individual State Interagency Academies (i.e., Texas Wildland Fire Academy, Florida Center for Wildfire and Forest Resources Management Training, Southern Area Interagency Wildland Engine Academy, Kentucky/Tennessee Fire Academy, Alabama Wildland Fire Academy, Mississippi Wildland Fire Academy, Virginia Wildland Fire Training Academy, and Arkansas River Valley Wildland Fire Academy (for Arkansas and Oklahoma), as well as individual State agency training.

This section contains the Southern Interagency Fire Training Coordination Committee directory and Charter.
This section contains information about prescribed fire training courses offered at the National Interagency Prescribed Fire Training Center located in Tallahassee, FL.
