Mission Statement:


The Great Basin Training Unit endeavors to provide high quality, interagency training opportunities to the Great Basin geographic area students by offering an average of 35 intermediate and upper level wildland fire, aviation, prescribed fire, and fire management training courses each year.  The Training Unit seeks out quality and diverse instructional cadres from all over the Great Basin.  National and specialty cadre are also sought to enhance student learning.  The Training Unit strives to provide accurate and timely information to the over 1,000 interagency personnel who attend course sessions or are seeking general training information.

 

Note:  The Great Basin Training Unit accepts students from other geographic areas and countries outside the United States.
