Course Description:

This course is designed to provide skills and knowledge needed to perform in the role

of communications coordinator (COMC).  Topics include: duties and responsibilities,

staffing and organization, resource management, internal and external coordination,

all-hazard incidents, and demobilization.

Target Group:

Personnel desiring to be qualified as a Communications Coordinator (COMC).

Prerequisites:

Qualified as a Communications Unit Leader (COML) with extensive Type I and Type II incident experience.
