Course Description:

This two-week course will meet the requirements for P101 (Basic Wildfire Prevention), FI110 (Wildfire Cause Determination), and Intermediate Fire Prevention Training.  It is intended for all agencies with wildfire prevention/mitigation duties.

The Course includes:  Communication Skills and public appearances, press releases, marketing plans, off highway driving tactics, emergency response, media relations, powerline and railroad equipment inspections, driving for the fire service.

Instruction will include classroom presentations as well as field exercises.

It will provide consistent, in-depth, hands-on training, techical fire prevention program direction and skills for prevention/mitigation field staff and managers.

Target Group:

Course is for those looking for a career in Fire Prevention.

Basic ICS Courses, I-100/I-200
