Course Description:

The I-Suite of computer applications consists of a Resource, Cost, Time, and Incident Action Plan units. These units are integrated, which means they have a similar user interface, and share a common database. We will cover all the units, with some break out time for those who only want to work in Planning and those who only want to work in Finance. We will use laptops to learn all of the units.

Objectives:

Prepare students to work on a Type 1 or 2 incident management team as a Status Check in Recorder, Resource Unit Leader, Demobilization Unit Leader, Personnel Time Recorder, Equipment Time Recorder, Cost Unit Leader, or Compensation for Injury Specialist.

Target Group:

This course is designed primarily for those who wish to work on a Type 1, Type 2, or Fire Use Incident Management Team in Planning or Finance.

This is not the course for those people who want to learn about I-Suite and apply it to their local units.

Priority for selection will be given to those people available to be dispatched to assignments and work in either Finance or Plans.

Prerequisites:

1. I-200 Basic Incident Command System & good computer skills using Windows are REQUIRED prerequisites.
2. S-260 Interagency Incident Business Management and S-261 Applied Interagency Incident Business Management are strongly suggested for those working in Finance.
